Fashion-forward men are going green this fall—but it’s not what you think.
According to fashion blogger Rick Edwards, muted green corduroy and velvet are key menswear trends this autumn. However, Edwards warns against low “wale counts.” Wale refers to the width of the cord used in making a corduroy garment and is measured in the number per inch. Stick with higher wale counts and thinner cords for ultimate style.
Edwards also offers these fall fashion tips:
- Don’t wear different greens in one outfit. You’ll look like a shrub.
- Keep the greens muted, like olive and khaki so they will pair well with neutrals like black, grey, navy, tan, etc.
- Invest in a green bomber jacket—they never go out of style.
