One of the most commonly asked questions is “How thin are the ties?” The easiest way to get this answer is to read the product description where it tells you the exact tie measurements. However, it appears people don’t like to read product descriptions so we’ve dedicated this blog post to talking about our Thin Ties.
Most of our ties are between 2″ and 2.5″ wide. The measurement takes place at the very bottom of the tie where the triangle part starts. In the example below the tie measure 2.5″. The red line denotes where the tie is measured (the red line is not a part of the design).
The interweb defines “Thin” as : with little thickness or depth
The interweb defines “Skinny” as: tight-fitting
We actually like the definition of Thin over Skinny. Does that mean we need to change our brand name to Thin Tie Madness? It doesn’t have a great ring to out…we prefer Skinny Tie Madness
Well that basically sums it up. We have some time left so let’s use it to clarify something that doesn’t really need clarification. Don’t confuse Thin Ties with these:
These are Thin Mints, not Thin Ties.
And don’t confuse Thin Ties with This:
This man is not “Thin”, he’s “Tin”. Don’t forget about that “H”.
